The Nude at Home series evolved from the Pinhole camera series begun around 1998, done in the studio and in the landscape. In the studio I would ask the model to bring something of hers to the shoot. I wanted to find a way to capture a personal sense of the model. Then I realized that in the model's home everything was part of the life and story of the model. As early as 2003, I had done shoots in the model's home but it was not until about 2010 that I recognized how much more personal these images were. I then tried to set up most of my Pinhole camera shoots with the model in her home.
