註釋
Purpose: The PDD-MRS, short for Pervasive Developmental Disorder in Mental Retardation Scale, was specially designed to assess persons with MR/ID. The concept PDD is used in conformity with the DSM-III-R/DSM-IV-TR (American Psychiatric Association, 1987/2000) and the ICD-10 (World Health Organisation, 1992). Target groups : Adolescents and adults who are mentally retarded/ intellectually disabled. Application: For every hundred children, adolescents and adults who display an autism spectrum disorder/Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), some fifty to sixty are additionally mentally retarded/intellectually disabled. By now, awareness has grown that this disorder frequently occurs in persons with mental retardation/intellectual disability, and that these persons are in need of a specific approach.
