Stars of Jade
註釋Stars of Jade describes in rich detail the Ancient Chinese view of the night sky. Beginning at least 15,000 years ago, the practical Chinese used the night sky to remind them when to plant, harvest, fish, hunt, build, wed, make war, settle debts, clean wells, sacrifice to the gods, bury the dead, hold festivals, and myriad other activities that made up the fabric of their culture. The author also includes a representative sampling of beautiful star stories from later periods in Chinese history.
