How do you value employees and become a better leader in any industry?
In my more than 25 years of professional life, I have had various experiences with people who were my superiors.
There were people in my life who showed me a good way into my professional life. We had fun and I learned a lot. As a young woman with 3 children, I had the opportunity to pursue a career.
Then came the dark side. I got to know people who were leaders only half-heartedly or because of the money. Some didn't even know how to guide the staff or didn't care. A cruel coexistence determined everyday life.
At some point I had enough of the "auxiliary work" and "cleaning up afterwards". I'd spent too many hours cleaning up my bosses' mess and justifying the incompetence of property managers to clients.
Due to the humiliation and disrespectful behavior, I decided to do further training.
I retrained and can now say that through learning, listening and teamwork, better cohesion with all parties involved in project management is possible!
It is a matter close to my heart to tell you about it. The world could be so much better if you accept challenges.
In this book you will learn about:
- How I traded time for life experience.
- Hitting the wall with power and full throttle is no longer an art.
- Energy-sapping togetherness is our everyday life.
- We were taught from an early age to obey orders without thinking.
- Different thinking is ostracized with scorn and ridicule.
- Tolerance: now a foreign word.
- How solution-oriented work is no longer encouraged
And other problems we face! But there is hope. And it is up to each and every one of us to be the leader that those who work for and with us need!
