註釋In December 2002 Francine Yvonne Barnum was diagnosed with cancer. She had surgery, endured months of chemotherapy and recovered, but in November 2003 the cancer returned, this time in her liver. She once again endured months of standard and experimental treatments. In February 2005 the cancer was determined to be terminal. This is her story as told by Jenn LeBlanc, a photojournalist, who also happens to be Francine's youngest daughter.
