Paul Sand is working for an important fashion magazine, leading a care-free life. Routine existence is suddenly shattered when his flamboyant boss, Ms. McMullen, discovers a theft of fashion ideas by a rival publication, and orders him to investigate. According to her plan, Paul is mandated to get romantically involved with Cynthia Morton, the Director of Cultural Affairs employed by the competing magazine to get inside information. Reluctantly he agrees, but the plan misfires when he gets entangled in a web of love and betrayal with that beautiful and mysterious woman.
