Social/ Behavioural and Cognitive Development at 3-4 Years in Relation to Family Background
註釋The Effective Provision of Pre-School Education (EPPE) project is a research study of children's progress and development aged from 3 to 7 years, and how progress relates to their pre-school centre experience and family background. This paper considers the relationship of social development and cognitive attainment to the range of variables available in the study that measure characteristics of the children, their parents, their family, their home and childcare history. A wide range of variables in considered and the nature of associations between family background and children's development are explored.
