註釋Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of William Meacham. He was born ca. 1720. He married Elizabeth (Cruthchfield?). They were the parents of eight children. He died between February and August 1808. She died after 1813. They resided in Virginia and later moved to Chatham County, North Carolina. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and elsewhere.
