Fierce Imaginings
註釋"Fierce imaginings: the First World War in text and image draws on material that has been published over the past century. While an attempt has been made to be broadly inclusive, the main focus is on the Allied side. The exhibition is divided into four sections: The Next Great War: fiction and fact; 1914-1918; Between the World Wars; and After 1945. The aim of the exhibition is to highlight some of the most important and interesting works of literature that have been written since the outbreak of war in 1914...The majority of the material on display comes from the collections of the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library and from a private collection. Trinity College and Victoria University in the University of Toronto also graciously agreed to lend items."--Introduction.
