This policy framework sets out the basic structure for existing Alberta government policies that address the needs of First Nations, Metis, and other Aboriginal people in the province. It also proposes a path for the future that emphasizes well-being, self-reliance, effective consultation regarding resource & economic development, partnerships, and the clarification of roles & responsibilities.
