註釋Field notes Vol. 670 documents Michael Nee's botanical collecting in 1978-1979 in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Venezuela. During this time period Nee was living in Wisconsin, where he received his Ph. D. from the University of Wisconsin in 1979. The notebook contains a list of specimen numbers 16201-16875, collected June 7, 1978-July 26, 1979. The list contains collection location and date, herbarium distribution of specimens, many entries have very detailed descriptions of plant and habitat, and many have herbarium determination. There are several photocopied maps glued to the pages. There are also some diary entries about the collecting trips. This is Collection Book 15 in Nee's numbering. The original field notebooks for these specimens are located in Field notes Vol. 654.
