Letters from Vera Scantlebury Brown, 49-54
註釋Description: In these letters Vera records her daily work at London Hospitals, including Endell Street Military Hospital. She also notes visits to Bluestocking friends, recreational activities, and medical work. She comments in one letter the "my wards have more medical than surgical cases in at present hence less operating lately". Vera also comments on the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps Ward at Endell Hospital, and other war news of German advances. In one letter Vera describes exploring London sights and witnessing a "splint show" given at a hospital, teaching officers wives the practice.
