註釋Series of essays describing the interaction between art market and the world of the arts in general. They draw attention to the positive affects of the art market on art historical scholarship and towards the dissemination of culture and the creative relationship between artist and dealer. Attention is given also to some of the practical difficulties faced by dealers in determining provenance and attitudes that appear to stand in the way of the open market.
