註釋This is an art catalog of 48 photographic abstractions from the series "Armor" by Chad Muthard with a quote selected by Pope Benedict XVI from St. Paul's Romans. In this body of artwork, the artist created by hand a 36" x 42" chain mail sheet utilizing Nickel also known as "German Silver" (ubiquitous in modern times for its use in batteries especially those of electric and hybrid vehicles) and then formed its structure into a variety of abstractions over the course of a year. This activity is to be seen as a fundamental exercise within non-violent discipline and artistic practice developing the skills of both the Photography and Metals Departments.
