An Approach to Conservation in Malaysia
註釋The criteria for the selection of conservation areas in Malaysia has been based largely on the richness of animal life especially large mammals, and the scenic value of particular areas. With the large scale change in land use and the loss of natural habitats in the last few decades, there is a need to conserve representation ecosystem which would reflect the overall biodiversity of Malaysia. The blueprint for conservation (1990) proposed by the Malayan Nature Society is an attempt to include as many of the natural ecosystem in Malaysia as possible. [Authors' abstract].
