Correspondence, much of it family correspondence, makes up the bulk of the Lang Papers. The correspondents include George Dunmore Lang, Isabelle Lang, Andrew Lang, Mrs. Wilhelmenia Lang, Mary Lang, and William Lang. The remaining correspondence consists of reports to Lang from fellow clergymen in England and Ireland; Mrs. Lang's correspondence involving letters to Sir Charles Cooper concerning the Rev. William Chaucer; several feet of miscellaneous letters from members of Lang's Church, the Colonial Secretary's Office in Sydney and the Australian Emigration Office.
