註釋"The remains of 17 Windmill Street were excavated in 2000 by archaeologist Robert Varman in advance of the construction of the Parbury Apartments on the corner of Windmill and Pottinger Streets, Millers Point. The excavation revealed a remarkable suite of archaeological features from an early colonial cottage thought to have been destroyed in the 1870s, including thick set stone foundation walls and rare and impressive elements of a late Georgian kitchen with walls standing over two metres high. Owing to the significance of the remains, the majority of the site was preserved intact under the new ten-storey apartment block and has been developed into an interpretation centre." - Background, page 7.
