Development of an IOS App Using Situated Learning, Communities of Practice, and Augmented Reality for Autism Spectrum Disorder
註釋This paper presents the development process and framework used to construct a transportation app that uses situated learning, augmented reality, and communities of practice. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that can cause social impairments as well as the limit the potential for the individual to achieve independence (American Psychiatric Association [APA], 2013). The use of technology to support learning in individuals with ASD has been well documented, however gaps exist in the pedagogical approaches that are being used. Future research opportunities into the pedagogical implications of this app are highlighted. [For full proceedings, see ED557189.].
