Modeling for Manpower and Personnel Policy Analysis
註釋Researchers in the manpower and personnel programs within RAND often develop or employ personnel inventory models to generate research findings. These models are typically designed to predict stocks and flows of personnel inventories or, more commonly, to simulate potential outcomes as a function of alternative human resource management policies. This tool describes a sample of such efforts undertaken at RAND over the past several decades. Some of the described models are of historical significance. Others, by virtue of recent use, are accessible to current researchers and analysts, at least conceptually if not in operative form. The tool should be of interest to researchers and analysts at the formative stage of a project to help in visualizing appropriate paths to meet current and future analytic needs.
