This report concerns an allegation that Captain Klaus Schneider, currently serving with Canadian Forces National Investigation Service, is in a conflict of interest situation, due to his involvement in a current investigation of issues arising out of Canadian Forces deployment to Croatia in 1993-1995, including the alleged destruction of medical documents from the files of members who had served in Croatia. The report provides a summary of the facts, as well as the findings and recommendations of the Ombudsman.
