The Relative Economic Contribution of Forestry, Or how Much is a Million Dollars Worth?.
註釋The Forest Sector Analysis Division is completing a study which quantifies the national income and employment directly and indirectly generated by the production/extraction and processing of 1 million worth of seven resource products. This note highlights some of that study's results with respect to one of those products (roundwood), with comparisons to the other products (fish, field crops, livestock, fossil fuels, and metallic and other minerals). Results presented include economic spin-offs and employment related to 1 million of primary output.
