註釋A detailed impact assessment of heritage resources in theproposed Murphy Creek Hydroelectric project on the Columbia Riverwas undertaken by Okanagan College in the summer of 1982. Fifteen heritage sites along the Columbia River between Castlegarand Trail were deemed to be in conflict with the proposed MurphyCreek Project. The objective of this study was to provide adetailed evaluation of all fifteen sites. The degree ofsignificance of these sites was determined and procedures formitigation, conservation or compensation were recommended.
