Two different iteration processes are derived for determining a root alpha of the equation x = psi(x) where psi is analytic in a neighborhood of alpha. The methods do not contain derivatives of psi and are of arbitrary order m. They reduce to Steffensen's iteration procedure when m = 2. (Author).
