註釋
The goal of this study was to assemble information that could be used to develop an integrated framework for guiding environmental protection, land use and human activities in relation to ecologically sensitive areas in the Boundary Bay area. Some of the objectives of this study were: to summarize existing studies, identify data gaps, and determine additional information requirements; to summarize the submissions of the Steering Committee; to prepare an inventory of the distribution, abundance, habitat utilization, and functional relationships of flora and fauna of conservation concern that had not been studied in depth, and to identify specific wildlife habitat protection requirements and selected enhancement opportunities, and to assess the effects of these requirements and opportunities on land use options.
