註釋Peter McGeachy was born in about 1725 in Scotland. He married Jenet McMillan in about 1750. They had five known children. Two of their sons, John and Alexander, immigrated to North Carolina and settled in Robeson County. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina, Arkansas, Ontario and Scotland.
