Alice suspects that Ludvig is not what he claims to be, but he does everything to do the job. The feeling that arises between her and the scientist places Alice in immense danger. He is being followed by the Gestapo and his own agency suspects her of treason. The real miracle is that Alice manages to leave Paris and live with her daughter in Switzerland. However, after more than twenty years since the war, Alice has to face the demons of the past.
