Paintings, Volume I
註釋I created this book at this time because I feel something has shifted. I think I've explored a number of interesting paths while putting a few miles on my brushes. Now it is time to have a look at where I've come from and figure out where to go next. Painting is an interesting journey. It takes you places you've never dreamed of going, shows you things you may have once overlooked. It is both intellectually challenging and stimulating. It is ever evolving. Best of all, the deeper you go, the more you discover. This is a sampling of about 60 paintings (still life, landscape, figures and portraits) over the past four years (2004 - 2008). I hope the next volume doesn't take as long to collect and I especially hope you enjoy this book. — Mary Ann Archibald Halifax, Nova Scotia
