Mark Morgans began writing this, his first novel, after being caught up in an unusual series of tragedies. These events convinced him that he needed to write stories about suffering, death and disaster from Heaven's perspective, especially as they relate to ordinary people. He is particularly interested in writing books that inspire his readers to become more than they thought they ever could be, and books that explore Biblical theology in story form.
