This book attempts to show the relationship of geometry to other fields of mathematics and to the physical world. While studies of fairly complicated configurations and rigorously proved theorems are considered, the emphasis is almost always on how they relate to somethings outside the formal system. The book has been used successfully with undergraduate and graduate students.
