Obra colectiva en la que se estudian diversas manifestaciones de la intolerancia a lo largo de la historia y en el mundo actual; las minorías judeo-conversas y moriscas en la Edad Media y Moderna, la exigencia de pureza de sangre para ingresar en las órdenes militares, los problemas de intolerancia en la conquista de las Indias, la legislación y movimientos antiesclavistas en el pensamiento español del siglo XVII y el proceso legislativo abolicionista desde las Cortes de Cádiz y finalmente el estudio de la raza como circunstancia modificativa de la responsabilidad penal en la jurisprudencia del Tribunal Supremo a fines del siglo XIX. También se estudian diversas manifestaciones de intransigencia religiosa en los Países Bajos españoles (1521-1566), o durante la Reforma y la Revolución (1555-1789), diversos estudios sobre la Inquisición, así como otras manifestaciones de la intolerancia derivadas de la pobreza, la condición femenina, la raza, etc. Finalmente se publican diversos estudios sobre la evolución jurisprudencial en materia de igualdad en el Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos, el Tribunal de Justicia de la Unión Europea y el Tribunal Constitucional de España.

A collective work in which are studied various manifestations of intolerance along History and in the modern world; converted Jewish and morisco minorities in Spain in the Middle Ages and the Modern period; the requisites of «purity of blood» for entry into the military orders; problems of intolerance in the conquest of the Indies; slave legislations and abolitionist movements in Spanish thought of the 17th century and the abolitionist legislative movements from the Cortes of Cadiz and, finally, a study of race as a modifying circumstance of criminal liability in the jurisprudence of the Supreme Court in the late19th century. It studies also several manifestations of religious intolerance in the Spanish Netherlands (1521-1566) and during the Reform and the Revolution (1555-1789); various studies on the Inquisition and other manifestations of intolerance as applied to poverty, women, race, etc. Finally, it publishes various studies on jurisprudence evolution on questions of equality in the European Court of Human Rights, the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Constitutional Court of Spain.
