註釋Contributors to this work, including ecologists, industrial ecologists, architects, and materials manufacturers, have collaborated to survey the evolution of concepts of construction ecology since 1994. They define construction ecology as a subset of industrial ecology focusing on the built environment, and examine areas such as complexity theory and industrial ecology, minimizing waste emissions from the built environment, and green architecture. Kibert directs the Rinker School of Building Construction at the University of Florida. He is known as one of the pioneers of the concept of sustainable construction. The book is distributed by Taylor & Francis. Annotation copyrighted by Book News, Inc., Portland, OR.
