註釋At leaf scale, using a non-rectangular hyperbolic fitting method, temperature response of leaf day respiration (Rd) was quantified under contrasting growth temperatures (Tgrowth) and water regimes. Drought exerted a greater influence than Tgrowth on the temperature response of Rd. The Kok method, one of the most popular methods for estimating Rd, strongly underestimated Rd, particularly under photorespiratory conditions. Using a biochemical C3-photosynthesis model, temperature responses of leaf photosynthesis and its components, including CO2-diffusional conductance and biochemical parameters, were quantified to assess photosynthetic acclimation to growth temperature and drought stress. Leaf photosynthesis acclimated little to Tgrowth but strongly to drought. In addition to CO2-diffusional conductance, omitting drought acclimation of electron transport parameters also led to considerable errors in predicting leaf photosynthesis.
