Diaries and Letters of Marie Belloc Lowndes, 1911-1947
註釋Mrs Belloc Lowndes, sister of Hilaire Belloc, had wished from an early age to be a writer. She had a wide circle of literary friends among both her contemporaries and the younger authors whose work she admired. She herself wrote over fifty books, including many crime novels. She was acquainted with a number of political figures, and her shrewd comments in her dairies and letters cast interesting side-lights on the events of the time.
