Characteristics of the Hurricane Storm Surge
註釋An effort has been made by the Storm Surge Research Project associated with the National Hurricane Research Project to collect all of the available by tropical cyclones and hurricanes of the last half a century in the United States in order to provide the basic data necessary for an identification of the phenomena responsible for the changes in water level associated with hurricanes in coastal regions. These data have been useful in improving the hurricane warning system and are being used as a guide for our theoretical research.
