Short Tales, Long Laughs
註釋

A selected collection of funny stories by the Master of Comedy (sic), Chris Campbell. Weaving tall tales of uproarious wit and humorous observations, each story includes entertaining insights to this thing we call, life.

Some stories are continuations of specific characters created in short story form who are voluntarily partnered or inauspiciously lumbered with each other. Their interactions and popular comic pairings could be stand-alone novels in their own right. In particular, look out for Tom and Eric, - the hapless cockney thieves, Reggie and his grandson, Tommo - the generational Gapsters, and the wacky, luckless pirate, Cap'n Cutlass.

There will be certain elements in these stories that include colourful language, political commentary, and something both sides of the Woke movement will identify with.

In our current societal stage of evolution, voices are too quickly silenced because of reactionary protestations from the loud voices shaming sincere and honest truths. The author of these short stories believes this has had a negative impact on comedy writing. So, as a writer, the author boldly states that they will not be muted or allow themselves to be influenced by political correctness but apologises in advance - with tongue in cheek, if certain sensitivities are insulted.

Perfect 15-minute reads for commuting, lunch breaks, resting at home - or in the case of the printed version, for keeping the sun out of your eyes while lounging in the garden.
