註釋
"This is the funniest book I've ever read in my life."That's what you are guaranteed to say if this is the first book you have ever read. Or if you consider an electronics manual to be a "book." Or if you love it when people write misleading quotes and take jokes too far.Though we appreciate all of you fictitious people who might say that this is the funniest book ever written, that really wasn't our intention. As the title says, we just wanted it to be "relatively funny." At the risk of humble bragging-nailed it! As the title also indicates, this is a collection of essays written in triplicate by siblings Denise Garlington (the oldest), Philip Dyer (the second-oldest) and Douglas Dyer (the youngest, but only by 13 minutes, so come on-it really is a tie for second). Each of us wrote a few stories that find the humor in everyday events from our lives, then the other two siblings wrote responses to those stories. Since the three of us are just normal people writing about life, we believe that everyone else who is both normal and alive will enjoy these stories and find them to be just as relatively funny as we intended. So lower your standards and jump right in. We promise that you're going to love this book and if you don't, then it's probably Douglas's fault. After all, he is the youngest.
