Jet Black
註釋[jet] black: the prelude, volume 1, is a compilation of poetry with poems you will want to use as a leave in conditioner. poems are thoughtfully crafted to empower our hair damp hair with justice and dry hair with truth. each book in the series is compiled of ripened thoughts [poems] and urgent accords of pulsing appeals recorded to support [condition] and protect the [jet] black woman and her legacy. i recommend you massage the [jet] black conditioner onto damp or dry hair and do not rinse. music is instrumental in my poetry process as certain poems you will find make lovely lyrics and were written with an original melody manufactured from my mind. [book 1], "shaded injustice" challenges you to find your identity with places, people, and things in your life where injustice was covert or supervised. next, create your own vision for what equality, diversity, and justice look like for you. lastly, identify ways you can work to make this vision an everyday reality. questions for discussions encourage the reader to reflect on their thoughts in solitude or with friends.[book 3], "black diamonds" challenges you to live a life based on truth, never bias or false faith. while prayer can bring you closer to your truth, intermissions in your story, and periods of pauses or waiting can push you to trust your own truth. these poems will help you recognize resilient rocks of truth and your black diamond. diamonds are tough, and so are you. they don't break and neither does truth, so why would you?
