Factors Affecting the Employment of People with Disabilities
註釋From the Introduction: This literature review explores measures that affect the employment of people with disabilities. It draws on both the Canadian and international experience and incorporates research that has been done in other Roeher Institute research projects. It includes a discussion of different approaches to defining disability in various countries and jurisdictions, examines the employment policy context in selected jurisdictions, examines factors both internal to and external to the workplace that affect employment levels, and concludes with a discussion of effective private sector practices that support the recruitment, retention and promotion of people with disabilities.
