General description of the collection: The Michael S. Davison papers consist of a debriefing report covering the period 15 April 1970 to 26 May 1971 written by LTC Michael S. Davison, Commanding General, II Field Force Vietnam and Third Regional Assistance Command in which he "convey[s] my personal reflections and observations on topics which are particularly important to the understanding of events in Military Region 3." He reviews the mission, concept, and various aspects of the Cambodian operation; touches of the wet and dry season campaigns, and then discusses Vietnamization, pacification, redeployment, and Thai relationships. The report includes 7 maps.
