Rasmus Fredriksen Nordbruget (1827-1886) married Martha Johannesdtr Midbruget (1832-1906). They, with five of their children immigrated to Dakota Territy in America in 1880. In 1912, he married Agnete Johannesdtr Olasven øvre. They both died in Norway. Descendants and relatives lived chiefly in South Dakota and the Northwest.
