Mahogany tall-case clock. The hood has a molded broken-scroll pediment, carved fretwork, a brass urn-and-spire finial on a central block plinth, a molded arch above the door, turned colonettes at the front corners, and a glazed door with an astragal top. Waist with molding at the top, fluted quarter columns at the front corners, and a rectangular case door with molded edges. Base with molding at the top and bottom and rectangular line inlay on front, supported on ogee bracket feet. Engraved brass dial with roman hour numerals and painted moon phase dial in the lunette. Inside the chapter ring are a seconds dial and a calendar aperture. The dial is inscribed with "William Thompson Baltimore." Eight day movement.
