A Spinning of Tales
註釋Folktales are the oldest stories in the world; they are among the most interesting; more people have read or heard them read or told than any other kind of story and many authors have based their best stories, fables, plays, songs, ballets and other dances upon folktales. Most of us, possibly without realizing it, have heard or read folktales. These sixteen tales are mostly about animals, in the tradition of Æsop, and some are about human beings, but all of them are delightful to read and learn from.
