註釋John Henry William Minaker (1734-1808) married Anne B.M. Ortloffen, then enlisted as a Hessian soldier and was shipped in 1776 to Trois Rivières, Québec. His family joined him, and they settled in North Marysburgh Township, Prince Edward County, Ontario in 1784. His surname was originally Meinecke. Descendants and relatives lived in Ontario, Québec, Manitoba, British Columbia and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to New York, Washington, California and elsewhere in the United States.
