註釋Identifies the reasons why sending countries, essentially Bangladesh and Indonesia, and Asian receiving countries, namely Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand and Singapore, have not yet ratified the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of their Families (ICMR), adopted by the UN General Assembly on 18 December 1990 and entering into force on 1 July 2003.
