Agents on Actors
註釋This volume profiles 60 actors' agents in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Seattle, Miami, Boston and other cities in the USA where theatre, film and actors' agents jobs exist, providing a behind-the-scenes view of how they work and what they look for in actors to represent. Each agent gives the actor career advice on: how to get the right agent; how to interview; what makes the most effective audition; and more. The strongest feature of the book is its coverage of the wide range of agents' specific fields - many represent actors for a certain niche of the business, such as ethnic actors, child actors, actors who are seniors, and performers in soap opera or TV commercials. A wide spectrum of agents is covered, from those in the super-big agencies, like William Morris, to small independents. The appendix is a resource guide to locating agents anywhere in the USA, including through use of the Internet.
