Research has revealed critical information regarding the growing number of students ?at risk? or exhibiting challenging behaviors, including the ramifications these behaviors have on family life and the student’s social/emotional wellbeing when identification and intervention does not occur early on. This project explores ways to identify and intervene early while working collaboratively to improve the behaviors and enhance the quality of life of those living with and experiencing challenging behaviors. Utilizing the Adventures in Parenting Handbook, this project aims to train and support parents on how to effectively implement the five strategies referred to as the RPM#: Responding, Preventing, Mentoring, Monitoring, and Modeling.
