Gender and Change in Developing Countries
註釋This volume is a collection of essays based on field work of Norwegian researchers in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. It deals primarily with the discontinuities of men's and women's life experiences in a variety of socio-economic contexts, usually involving rapid market integration. The aim of this book is to depict the complexities of gendered local responses to social change, encouraging a more comprehensive understanding of the nature and impact of the processes now occurring in the developing world.
