A Comparison of High School Dropout Rates in 1982 and 1992
註釋Examines the changing demographics of high school students over the last decade and investigates the impact these changes may have had on high school dropout rates. Makes comparisons of the characteristics and dropout rates based on demographic and family characteristics, academic background, and risk factors of the sophomore and sophomore to senior classes of 1980 and 1990. From 1980-1990 there was a 5% increase in the proportion of sophomores living in families below the poverty line; there was a greater proportion of minority students; there was a 6% decrease in students from intact families.
