註釋Response of the Environmental Assessment Review Panel reviewing air transportation proposals in the Toronto area to the environmental impact statement submitted by Transport Canada. The Panel identified a number of deficiencies in the areas of socio-economic impact. This document lists those deficiencies and requests additional information on the alternatives to the proposal, aircraft sound exposure levels, the need for NEF contours, the current shortfall in air traffic controllers, the major underlying assumptions of the cost/benefit study, the costs of building further facilities, aircraft movement demand, runway utilization, relationship between annoyance and noise, effects of noise on schools, air quality monitoring and modelling, mitigation measures, and compensation.
