註釋
Data collection in the 13 regions would not have been possible without the work of the executive directors of the collaborating agencies, their staff, the local co-ordinators and their volunteers who carried out the fieldwork. [...] Thanks to Larry Breker who accepted the challenge of layout of the questionnaires in multiple languages, to Jenny Armour who designed the promotional material and the final report, and to Xtra! magazine and staff. [...] These data provide limited information about the behaviours and characteristics of HIV infected and affected populations and the context of the spread of the epidemic. [...] Between April and June of 1999, staff of the HIV Studies Unit visited each of the 12 Ontario regions that participated in The Canadian Survey of Gay and Bisexual Men and HIV Infection: Men's Survey (commonly called the National Men's Survey, 1991). [...] Volunteer participation enhanced the community involvement in this study, and the volunteers' knowledge of local gay and bisexual networks and resources was essential to the success of the study.
